What should you charge for advertising on a website?

lets say you owned directsalesandmarketing.com a pretty decent domain in the world of direct sales. what would be reasonable to charge a company per month to advertise as a "featured company" on the site? there are only 3 spots for featured companies and that's a lot of exposure, traffic rank, check out the google keyword tool, just from natural traffic alone the site pulls 600 people a month, specifically interested in getting a job or contracting with a company or new ideas.|||Honestly since you have no alexa ranking and your pr is 0 you wont get much money for this. Might list it on ebay and see how high you can get it to. If you have any ohter questions just email me.|||I wouldn't even pay $15 to $30 a month.

Take marketing standard 1-3% will convert into a CTR for the buyer of banner or etc. So now the buyers end product needs to be so highly priced because he will also fall into the 1-3% CTR rate - this will turn into like .1% - I would pay something like $1-5 a month as you can find banners spots like these all day long on DP|||600 people a month is not a good traffic.

websites /blog having 1000 visitors a day can charge $15 to $30 per month for 125X125 banner advertising.
